Hello!

My name is Dorthe and I am a multimedia journalist from Norway, currently based in Manchester.

I have a deep passion for visual storytelling and a strong interest in sports, health, fashion, and culture.

Over the past three years in Manchester, I have written articles and features that focus on my topics of interest. A significant part of my time has been dedicated to MCR Met Matchday Live, a university sports broadcast channel where I work as a presenter, interviewer, and social media content creator. Recently, I also joined the Department of Health Professions at Manchester Metropolitan University as a content creator, promoting its programmes, research, students, and staff on social media.

During my summer breaks from university, I have been working as a local and regional journalist in Norway, gaining experience in news, culture, and feature writing, as well as video production for social media.
